Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for travel booked through Catchaflight, operated by DRYMS Pty Ltd (ABN 81 678 371 107, ACN 678 371 107).

Airline and supplier rules apply

Most fares and travel products are governed by the rules of the airline or supplier providing them. Whether a booking can be cancelled or refunded, and any penalty that applies, is determined by those rules. Some fares are fully non-refundable, while others allow changes or refunds with a fee. Your travel expert explains the applicable rules before you approve your booking.

Before payment is captured

When you submit your card details, your card is authorized, not charged. Payment is captured only after we verify fare availability and you approve the exact total in writing. If you decide not to proceed before payment is captured, or the fare cannot be ticketed, no payment is taken and the authorization is released. Your ticket is not confirmed until it is issued.

Service fees

Our service fee, where it applies, is disclosed to you before any payment is captured. Service fees may be non-refundable once work has been carried out on your booking, to the extent permitted by law. Post-ticketing service fees may apply for voluntary changes or cancellations after your ticket is issued, and are always disclosed before we carry out the work. Any applicable fees are explained to you before you approve.

Requesting a cancellation or refund

To request a cancellation or refund, contact your travel expert or our support team as early as possible. We will explain the options available under the relevant fare or supplier rules, any penalties that apply, and the expected timeframe. Refunds, where available, are processed back to your original payment method and may take time to appear depending on the airline or supplier and your bank.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
